چکیده

Diabetes mellitus both (Type 1 and Type 2) are one of the common causes for activation platelet. Inflammation-induced abnormal platelet function contributes to chronic complications, which leading death morbidity among diabetics. Rac1 has been shown regulate a variety functions; predicted Rac1could release CXCL4, leads kidney injury in Mellitus. mellitus' effect on activation, 21kD G-protein implicated was investigated induced inflammation injury. Swiss albino male mice were pretreated with 5 mg/kg specific inhibitor NSC23766 injected (45 body wt.) streptozotocin, twice five days. Moreover, concentration serum chemokines CXCL4 assayed using ELISA histology score examined. Our results showed that by streptozotocin. In addition, (CXCL4) markedly higher diabetic when compared sham (control) group. pretreatment decreased liver assessed score, P-value <0.05. study reveals critical role secretion due diabetes-induced kidneys, targeting could be target innovative treatment control individual. Targeting platelets involved inflammatory pathways part strategy order manage diabetes its consequences.

Selective Rac-1 inhibition protects from diabetes-induced vascular injury.

Diabetes mellitus is a main risk factor for vascular diseases. Vascular injury induced by diabetes mellitus is characterized by endothelial dysfunction attributable to an increased oxidative stress. So far, the molecular mechanisms involved in the vasculotoxic effects of diabetes are only partially known. We examined the effect of diabetes mellitus on oxidative stress and Rac-1 activation, a sm...

Drug-Induced Acute Kidney Injury in Diabetes Mellitus

Background: Drug-induced acute kidney injury is a common situation in clinical practice. Many treatments are involved and they are even more aggressive when associated with a predisposing factor such as diabetes. We aimed to investigate clinical features of acute drug-induced kidney injury in diabetics in order to clarify renal prognosis. Methods: This was a descriptive and analytical retrospec...

Preventive Effects of Aqueous Extract of Berberis integerrima Bge. Root on Liver Injury Induced by Diabetes Mellitus (Type 1) in Rats

This study was conducted to assess the preventive effect of aqueous extract of Berberis integerrima Bge. root (AEBIR) on liver damage and oxidative stress induced by diabetes mellitus in rats. Forty male rats were divided into 5 groups as follows: 1- normal (N); 2- normal + barberry (N+B) (they received barberry root extract for 6 weeks); 3- diabetic (D) (they received Streptozotocin (STZ), 65 ...
